Photos for the executives or the whole team - from a top Toronto Corporate Headshot And Event Photographer
So you're ready for new headshots. It has been a while since they've been done. You have new hires, new execs and all around more people. Now the question is, do you continue and do photos just for the executives or do you do photos for the whole team?
The executives on the whole have many speaking engagements, and public appearances that they would need to have their faces seen. In fact it's entirely likely that you'd want to have a headshot that is reflective of your corporate brand and a second headshot that is against a white or light grey background that can be multipurpose. I highly recommend doing a photoshoot with two looks so that you are able to be versatile.
Now, does the rest of the company need to have their photos done since the executives are the face of the company to the outside world? How will this benefit the company as a whole to have everyone's photo taken. If the whole company isn't being seen then why bother. Here's a few reasons why you would want to take those photos.
Company Moral is a big deal, and if you can make people feel like they are worthwhile in the company photos is one easy way to accomplish it. Making everyone to feel included is also important.
Company Re-org. Yup, People don’t always stay in the same position. They move on to other companies, other divisions leaving spaces for team members to move up. Why not take the opportunity to refresh the whole company at once than doing a photoshoot for that one person who’s now an exec. If you did everyone you would already have the photo.
Opportunity for group photos. Since people are going to be in the office for their photo, why not do a group photo. You can print and hang this on the wall or email it out to everyone as unity of all the teams. The holiday party does not have to be the only time people get their photos taken as a group.
So, there you have it. I say, do the whole company. You never know what opportunity you’ll need the photos for and it’s just great to have a professional catalog of everyone who works at the company.
